Atul Gawande

Atul Gawande is a surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Harvard Medical School professor. He's also a writer and public health researcher. In 2010, Gawande was named one of the world’s 100 most influential thinkers by TIME magazine. Gawande's bestsellers include: Being Mortal (2014), The Checklist Manifesto (2009). Better (2007) and Complications (2002).
