Benjamin Graham
Benjamin Graham (1884-1976) was an economist, professor, and investor. He is widely known as the "father of value investing." He started his career as an investor in 1914, after which he had to deal with substantial losses during the economic crash in the 1920s. In his book The Intelligent Investor (1949), having learned from his own mistakes, Graham lays out precisely what it takes to become a successful investor in any environment.
