Mark Williams

Mark Williams is a Professor of Clinical Psychology and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry. He's also the co-founder of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and heads up the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. His research explores how mindfulness can help us lead happier lives and ward off anxiety, stress, and depression. He co-wrote Mindfulness in a Frantic World (2011)with meditation teacher and award-winning journalist, Dr. Danny Penman, and is also the author of The Mindful Way Through Depression (2007).
