Marshall Rosenberg

The late Marshall Rosenberg was an American psychologist, mediator, teacher, and author. He created the concept of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). If done with honesty and empathy, NVC's language leads us to develop constructive strategies to improve our relational well-being. He published 15 books, including Nonviolent Communication (1999), which has sold more than one million copies. He founded the Center for Nonviolent Communication, an international peacekeeping organization that offers programs based on NVC's teachings.
